I swore I would never part with this loom because it is my favorite but I talked my mother into buying a new Schacht and she can’t use it so I plan to move into that one.
Tools of the Trade 60” weaving width, 8 shafts, 10 treadles, vintage (70’s???) maple loom with 5 reeds and bench. I’ve been weaving on this until last week and the shafts operate smoothly. Friction brake. Lease sticks. Handmade padded bench with storage. Reeds-6,8,10,12,16 (one reed is 54” but the rest are 60”). Folds up. Chains and pins for all shafts. Says 1800 inserted eye heddles but I did not count. Clean canvas aprons.
