Hereke Carpet, (oriental rug), Handmade in Turkey. Purchased in Dubai back in 1990. 100% silk. Size 3 ft x 4.5 ft. Ivory oval field well-covered with a profusion of flower and vine motifs. Midnight blue corners. Red main border. Two ivory carnation chain guard borders. Four light blue guard borders. Small red-orange signature oval. So-called 10/10 weave with about 600 knots to the square inch. Very regular, well finished. Excellent condition. Priced at $5850.
