Isfahan Carpet, (oriental rug), Made in Iran. Purchased in Dubai in 1990. Size 3.9 ft. by 5.7 ft. Very, very unique! An unusual pictorial hillside scene with numerous animals including deer, monkeys, wolves. Flowing streams feature birds and animals as does the sky. Beige main border with tree-of-life motifs again featuring numerous birds and animals. Light blue guard border with floral chains. Rather fine with approximately 600 knots to the square inch. Silk foundation with wool pile. Good regular construction. Dense feel. Excellent condition. Priced at $4750.
