Antique cast iron corn chopper on board for sale, $100. This is a unique item dating back to the turn of the century, around 1904. Manufactured by the Root Heath Company (R & H) in Plymouth Ohio. It is stamped with both the R&H logo on the top and Root Heath on sheller wheel and is in very good condition. It is designed to mount on a board, as is, and secured over a barrel to catch the shelled corn. The cob is ejected from the sheller to the outside of the barrel when turning the handle. It was rated at 14 to 16 bushels per hour and is still completely functional when handled with care. See my other ads. Call show contact info
