This vintage hardcover book covers the global activities of the Aviation Engineers, with operations extending across Korea, Newfoundland, Greenland, the United States, Europe, the British West Indies, and Alaska. This book belonged to my father who is in this book and was part of the 826th Engineer Aviation Battalion. Also included was a military typed extract dated March 1953 and was inside the book.
Although the Aviation Engineer Force was officially established in April 1951, the book also reflects on the earlier history of Aviation Engineers, including their distinguished service in World War II in both the European and Eastern theaters.
A great collectible for military, aviation, and historical enthusiasts.
