Excellent condition copy of the Hobbit, read by Martin Shaw and an excellent copy of the JRR Tolkien Collection - an assortment of classic Tolkien excepts as read by JRR himself as well as his son Christopher. A most excellent listen too I must say. Read these books many times over the years. I bought these cassettes in recent years when working as a road technician - books are a better listen than music or talk radio on long trips. This copy has only been played back one time.
You get both titles which includes 8 total audio cassettes (over 9 hours of audio), the collection tapes have Dolby B noise reduction, the Hobbit does not.
This is of course and abridged version as most audio books were around the time this was recorded. How can you beat hearing Tolkien's stories in his own voice!
