Selling my 18’ 1979 Checkmate Exciter. No room to store for winter. Hate to sell but bought a Lund April 24’ so the Checkmate sat in driveway covered. Did not use since Oct. 23’ when I took out of water. Strong 175 merc. 2 stroke. Prob. Could use a water pump, was going to put one in to strengthen the stream but again bought a Lund. Can’t use 2 boats & ; no room to store. Boat is a 79… older sleek style.lots of compliments. NOT perfect by any means cosmetically but has always been solid & a good runner. Clearcoat has been peeling/chipping for a few years. Seats are sunfaded ( see pics.) no biggie to Redo, If your looking for a good older style speedboat that is solid but needs TLC this may be what your after. Clean paperwork/ Reggy for boat & Trailer.
