This is a slightly unusual "as is" sale of a boat and trailer that I purchased in 2008. I believe the last time the boat was in the water was 2006. The boat is located in New Jersey just a short drive from Philadelphia, PA. I purchased the boat already Winterized and Shrink Wrapped. I had plans to eventually use it on Lake Ontario but those plans never worked out for several reasons that I won't get into in this ad. After 17 years of non use a lot will have to be done to get this boat back into the water. I removed the shrink wrap and I've done a lot of clean up. I don't intend to Demo the boat or even start the engine because the old fuel will have to be drained and the carburetor cleaned or rebuilt, etc., etc. The Electronics were obsolete and were removed years ago with the intention to upgrade but that was never done. I would prefer to sell this boat to someone who is familiar with Penn Yan boats and who can evaluate the hull, engine etc. I will allow all interested parties the opportunity to physically evaluate any and all parts of the boat for as long as they like. Unfortunately, I may not have electric or water where the boat will be stored. The original V8 engine is a 454 cu in Mercruiser Hi Performance Model. The 2004 ACE, 10,500 LB Capacity, Aluminum Bunk Trailer Model 262810B appears to be in good shape and will carry boats up to 28 feet. The boat and trailer are currently stored in Westville NJ. The boat and trailer will be sold for the best reasonable cash offer due to the unusual circumstances. My asking price for the boat without the trailer is $4,900.00. I will sell the boat without the trailer for the best reasonable offer closest to my asking price. However, I will not sell the trailer without the boat. The aluminum trailer has a current value of at least 5K because a new similar model has a value in excess of 10K . I accept CASH ONLY. I am not interested in trades.
