These speakers were built many moons ago by a very skilled gentleman who also built several amplifiers and a preamplifier for me. They are in near perfect condition. The drivers have absolutely no dings, or scratches. Built with 3/4" plywood cabinets. The cabinets have been left unfinished.
Paired with a decent subwoofer and a low powered 10-12 watt single ended vacuum tube amplifier (recommended) these make a very satisfying speaker system. A system that will be loved by anyone who appreciates the simplicity of a full range speaker. There's no crossover!!
The single ended 6BQ5/EL84 5Y3GT based amplifier and 6SN7GT 5Y3GT based preamplifier that were used with these speakers for their entire life in a system, are available.
