$1,000 Sign on / 5% bonus plan & Hourly wage starts  $25.09+

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for our foundry department.  We have openings on our day shift (4am - 4pm) and night shift (4pm-4am). The individuals th work on our night shift will receive a $3.00 shift differential. Overtime available and you may have to work on weekends as needed.

Melter – In this position the successful candide will perform duties reled to opering the melting equipment to melt, pour a wide variety of parts using different alloys.  Experience in a foundry manufacturing environment preferred.  This position will also require the successful candide to set up air and/or vacuum units to meet required melting parameters.  The successful candide will have tention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions accurely. 

Major Responsibilities:

• Opere pre-he oven for preparing ceramics according to specificions.
• Safely move merial to the furnaces per instructions
• Take samples to the merials laborory and identify if any additions need to be made
• Perform all checklists (reliability, etc.) according to instructions/specificions
• Inspect mold set-ups for accuracy
• Safely opere the mold furnace
• Ability to set-up Vacuum furnace to meet required melting parameters.
• Must be able tolere high he temperures
• Support continuous improvement initiives
• Should have a basic understanding of the periodic table of elements
• Should have the ability to trouble shoot
• Should have basic PC knowledge
• Responsible for adherence to all safety policies, practices and procedures

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Educion: High School Diploma or General Educion Degree (GED)
• Certificions/Licenses:  Forklift license may be required
• Experience: Entry Level Position but foundry experience preferred – Prior manufacturing experience a plus
