Looking Salad/Deli Bar associate

Must have a background in catering, food production, sandwich making and salad bar prep and set-up. This position will report to the Chef Manager.
Ideal candidate will be open, friendly, enjoy being around a student population and love to cook delicious food. Previous similar experience (5 - 7 years) is required, preferably in a private/boarding school dining service environment. Humor, adaptability and a "can do" attitude is a must as school environments often have unexpected events and last minute schedule changes.
Salad Bar/Deli Responsibilities
Prep all salad bar related food items including production, set up, replenishing, cleaning and breakdown of salad/deli bar.
Slice all deli meats, cheeses & vegetables daily.
Comprehend written recipes for preparation of condiments and composed salads.
Food safety knowledge regarding proper heating and cooling.
Experience with the operation and disassembly of the meat and cheese slicers, knife skills, familiarity with related utensils and equipment including food processor and robocoupe.
Further, candidates will be expected to maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all outlined health and safety regulations with regard to equipment use and personal hygiene. Lastly, the above shall be achieved while providing exceptional customer service in a courteous, helpful and friendly manner at all times.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY and Occasional weekend or night
