Black Copper and Blue Copper Marans Roosters - $25 (Oswego)

🐣 Blue Copper and Black Copper Marans Cockerels hatched from quality dark lines in early June 2025… Attached is a photo of the exact eggs they’d hatched from as well as a recent pullet egg from one of their sisters who recently began to lay.
*The breeding pen I had set up consisted of my Black Copper Marans Rooster over Black Copper and 1 Blue Copper Marans Hens. They’re absolute sweethearts, Roo is a gentle giant coming in at around 12lbs, very good at watching over the hens and scouting out potential threats. Had a huge Red Fox come in earlier this summer whilst they were out free ranging and the rooster put himself between it and his ladies. I actually had to stop him from chasing the 🦊 down as it retreated into the woods… Hens are layers of large dark and typically speckled eggs with the occasional heavy blooms. This line doesn’t go broody often but have had the occasional hen sit and raise chicks.
*Recent photos added 01/23/26 (Sorry about their mucky feet, they were out digging in the compost pile while we cleaned their coop and the dirt got all stuck to the feathers on their feet)…
