Sanico is a growing family-owned wholesale distributor of janitorial supplies and equipment across Upstate NY. We are looking for a Equipment Repair Technician to join our growing Syracuse team.
The Repair Tech will be expected to:
- Diagnose and fix customer floor equipment (auto-scrubbers, vacuums, extractors, etc)
- Have an organized approach toward triaging and responding to customer's service calls.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with other members of the Sanico Equipment Repair Team.
- On ad-hoc basis, the Repair Tech MAY be directed to assist with large-scale installation of towel/tissue/handsoap dispensers or chemical dispensing systems.
VIABLE applicants will have demonstrated experience with small engine repair, machine maintenance, electrical, batteries, etc. Upon hire, the incumbent will shadow Sanico's current Equipment Repair Techs to gain better understanding of the types of equipment we sell and fix.

Days: Mon-Fri,
Shift: 0800a-1630
Location:
Sanico-Syracuse Branch (327 Wavel St) with considerable time to be spent out in field diagnosing and fixing equipment at customer locations.
Wage Range:
$19-$23/hr
