CONDITION: This instrument is in good physical condition. I see no cracks or other damage. However, it will need a complete keys-off overhaul and repad, which I will leave to the new owner, thus the reduced price. It is sold AS-IS, with no warrantees. See pictures.

THE STRAIGHT DOPE: This Evette & Schaeffer/Buffet clarinet has the potential to be a fine instrument for an advancing student or recreational player, with the investment of a keys-off overhaul. The equivalent instrument new will cost you over $1,500 at major retailers. Even after the overhaul it'll cost you less than 1/2 of that! All sales FINAL unless I determine that I significantly misrepresented it. I'll be happy to answer any questions about the instrument itself. Sold by professional musician.
