Job Description

Starting pay is $18.50 an hour

Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed). At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive informion and given the responsibility to protect classified informion and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associed with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and informion with professionalism
• Conduct prols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified informion
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communicion to client and/or other security personnel
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
• Act as a first responder in emergency situions

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position approprie level security clearance (nional security eligibility determinions take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to ste and/or local laws and regulions and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
• Prior military experience
• Effective written and oral communicion and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermedie computer skills to opere innovive, wireless technology client specific sites

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
• Associe's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a reled field
