Northern Quebec Caribou Pedestal Mount with custom cherry base - $2,500 (Chittenango)

I have for sale an exceptional Northern Quebec Caribou pedestal mount from a caribou legally harvested from the northernmost part of Quebec within the Arctic Circle. This herd is no longer huntable due to a declining population. This mount was done by a master taxidermist and is graded as excellent. This bull was an absolute stud! He has a shovel and bez like no other. I’ve seen many caribou but have never seen one with this much character. The hide is in great shape, like all caribou - the hair is hollow and will shed when brushed. This mount has been appropriately cared for. I’m renovating my home and no longer have the room for this mount. Caribou mounts cost thousands of dollars, caribou hunts can approach ten thousand dollars. Item is local sale only, or I would entertain freight arranged by the buyer. The cherry base was custom made by a local wood crafter for this mount and is made from real cherry. The base does have 2 splits at the bottom (see photos). This item comes from a clean, non-smoking household. Please see my other taxidermy sales for some other excellent specimens.
