While it's called "The Protector," it was really made by Sisco, a company bought by BRK Brands a company that makes Honeywell and First Alert.
My point is that it's not a flimsy one of the type you would buy today made of rolled thin metal that weighs 65 pounds and that a thief with a crowbar could open in about two minutes.
. While the 'shelf' has 'slots' for a number of rifles, I only had 2 and it seems to me it would hold only four or six with space between.
It has three shelves, one of them with slots for rifles. All can be moved up or down to accommodate rifles of different length or ammo.
As you can see, it has a combination lock, not digital. Cash only.
