2ND PRICE DROP Husqvarna 1830HV 30” Snowblower - $650 (Syracuse)

For Sale is a big, tough Husqvarna 1830HV snowblower. I bought this brand new several years ago from House Trucking in Central Square - those boys know power equipment! It was/is a “Pro-Sumer” grade machine - radically better quality than box store junk. I’ve depended on it for years clearing snow from a fairly large/steep driveway where we get a ton of snow, and it has done a great job. I’ve done routine maintenance on it myself - oil changes, belt changes, a few bearings, etc. it has also needed a new auger/impeller gearbox, which I just did - that was an almost $300 repair. Not shocking given that it has worked hard. On one hand, it’s needed a few repairs. On the other, parts are readily available, and it is solid and working great now. I’ve only ever run ethanol-free gas in this (and all of my power tools)
Needs nothing mechanically. Starts right up on pull start OR electrical power start (plug in to wall outlet). It has some normal surface corrosion, and the handle grips are a little ragged (I wrapped them with bicycle handlebar grip tape many years ago, and that is starting to fade and look a bit ratty now).
This was about $2000 new, so you’re getting it for 1/3 of the new price!
This is a beast - big, heavy, and absolutely tears through deep snow or heavy banks left by the plow where the driveway meets the road. But it’s easy to use, with fingertip “steering assist” and a joystick type chute adjustment system that is fast and easy.
