Tree Climber
Position Summary:
Tree Climbers perform pruning, removals, and other tree care services while working safely aloft using climbing gear, ropes, lifts, and chainsaws. They work closely with the ground crew to complete jobs efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Climb trees using ropes, saddles, and aerial lifts.
• Perform tree pruning, removals, and trimming according to industry standards.
• Operate chainsaws, rigging equipment, and other tree care tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with crew members during operations.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and job site cleanup.

Groundsman
Position Summary:
Groundsmen support tree care operations by assisting climbers and equipment operators, maintaining safe work zones, handling debris, and operating equipment as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist tree climbers and crew leaders during tree care operations.
• Operate chippers, chainsaws, and other equipment safely.
• Drag, chip, and dispose of brush and debris.
• Maintain a safe and organized job site.
• Direct traffic and set up work zone safety devices when required.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment.
Qualifications for Both Positions:
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.
• Previous tree care experience preferred but not required.
• CDL and industry certifications are a plus.
