Tri Star Realty is hiring a reliable maintenance technician for steady work across rental properties in Syracuse, NY.
We need someone who can handle practical apartment maintenance, unit turns, punch-list repairs, and light renovation work. The right person is dependable, communicates clearly, and can work independently without needing every step explained.
Typical work includes:
- Unit turnovers and make-ready work
- Drywall patching, painting, trim, and basic carpentry
- Basic plumbing repairs such as faucets, toilets, drains, and leaks
- Basic electrical repairs within your skill level
- Door, lock, cabinet, flooring, and fixture repairs
- Inspections and punch-list completion
- Responding to maintenance requests from property management
Must have:
- 2+ years of maintenance, construction, or rental-property repair experience
- Own tools
- Reliable truck or van
- Ability to work independently and finish jobs cleanly
- Good communication by phone/text
- Dependable schedule and professional tenant interaction
Pay:
$22-$28 per hour, based on experience and skill set. Full-time work is available for the right person.
