Classic RF Modulator from Radio Shack, catalogue number 15-1244.
This is in pristine condition, even I don't know how I managed to keep this looking like new all these years. Tested of course, and it's working as it should. Original owner's manual included and is in excellent condition.
An RF modulator like this one takes a video signal (standard composite in this case) and broadcasts it onto either channel 3 or 4 of the standard US broadcast television band. This was the only way of getting your video game or VCR signals into your television before TV's has actual direct inputs on them. Most VCRs and game consoles had one of these built in.
Today most use these external units to get classic video games onto vintage TVs that don't have inputs since CRT TVs have become hard to find. Vintage color TVs are selling for big money for gaming these days but only if they have inputs on them. RF modulator isn't going to look as good as direct inputs would but the average gamer isn't going to notice the difference so you can work with cheaper TVs.
Become your own TV broadcast studio! (for one tv).
Modern TVs no longer have an NTSC tuner in them and cannot receive signals from an RF modulator of this type. This is of course because there is no longer any NTSC broadcasts in the US (sadly). You get an ATSC tuner now but you should have plenty of direct input options so things like this are obsolete already. I put this info here so you wont message me asking if it works with your 80" flat screen - it does not.
Comes with RCA audio/video and an RF cable - everything you would need. I have extra and/or longer cables - ask if you need them.
Public meeting or delivery is available in Auburn, NY.
