Rita was hospitalized and is now at a medical facility working hard in a physical rehabilitation program to regain mobility. She wants nothing more than to come home to her pups, Rosie and Stormy. Various members of Rita's family are doing everything possible to provide temporary care for the dogs, but all the moving around is stressful on the girls.
Rita's family refuses to surrender the dogs to a shelter, and nor should they have to. That is why we need your help. Stormy and Rosie need a foster home for the next four months. They would do best in a quiet atmosphere with people who like waffles. Yes, waffles. . .as the girls are huge fans of this breakfast food as a treat.
As commonly seen with the Dachshund breed, Stormy sometimes has back sensitivity from a past injury, and shouldn't be around highly active children or dogs that may jump on her. Both Stormy and Rosie love getting attention from people, and in return are very affectionate and cuddly.
Can you help out these adorable Doxies so Rita can reunite with them when she is feeling better?
